Local Bands! (Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, etc...)

I'm going to be acting in a film by a great Toronto artist/professor by the name of Shelly Bahl, and we're looking for musicians! The short film is basically about a girl of South-Asian origins who breaks away from traditional aspects of her culture (more on that later) and uses music as her drug of choice. It'll be a really great, provocative and unique project.

What we need from you?
Music for the soundtrack: All local bands can apply, but specifically, we're looking for a cool, 80's remnicent sound. Think The Cure, The Faint and the like... but it's not limited. Anyone can apply.

Secondly, there's a scene where I will be performing on stage. I'm a solo musician (writer, guitarist) but the director has mentioned she wants a band up on the stage as well, so if a band or musicians are willing to play with me for that scene, that would be great. I can play guitar well enough, so if you need a guitarist, I can do that.
